RAILS is the Russian Advanced Interactive Listening Series.
I was the main author of 18 of the 30 lessons in the RAILS series. This project aimed to help those on the intermediate level in listening in Russian move to the advanced level. The lessons were based on films and interviews with prominent Russians, including Veniamin Smekhov, Irina Khakamada, and Sergei Khrushchev.
This project won AATSEEL’s book prize for Best Contribution to Language Pedagogy in 2008.
